Spiritual answer

To a physical problem.

Seems possible when

All steps are applied to all

Situations like clockwork.

A thought came to me as I was about to start my Hoshi day at home. Rev. Nagase shared a story about Rev. Watanabe which made me realize the power of the spiritual world. I know it is difficult to make the connection some times but we should take a leap of faith. Perhaps one session of Johrei may be good enough for a headache and perhaps good enough for a marvelous life changing miracle. But since we cannot discern what the number is, perhaps we should increase the number of sessions of Johrei to find that number. It could be 10 Johrei per day for 2 weeks. It could be 30 Johrei sessions per day for a month. We do not know. And then it happened. As I was planning the day out, while exchanging Johrei with my wife, it occurred to me that the same thing can be applied to Soul Polishing and Mitamamigaki. As the number of people who help with Mitamamigaki increases we can start applying this principle to our Center. Let’s say the progress of our Center’s mission has been in 1st gear for awhile. What if we had 25 people helping and only 7 have a position at the altar. We could have the other 18 people continue cleaning around the Center to help polish the soul of the Center. Yes, they would also polish their souls but the Center needs a boost.

I used this same reasoning for the cleaning of our home. Yes, I could clean all the floors like I always do on Friday morning but what if I spent the day, (Thursday) cleaning things that normally are not cleaned every week. Today I concentrated on the windows, screens and screen doors. Yes, everything looks clean. And I also did some soul polishing but I believe another reason for doing this is the spiritual health of our home. It needs a little love and attention; perhaps a new water heater, but it also, needs the high vibration from us. That has to be the difference between a house and a home.

Update: 6/25/24

Today was another Hoshi day at home. I was praying, wouldn’t it be nice if I had another part of my home that I could put some love and affection into . . . I was washing the dishes at the time and it occurred to me. Why not put some elbow grease into the marble in the kitchen. Polishing marble while polishing my soul. What a concept. Well, it did not go as well as I planned. When I polished a little silver spoon yesterday the feeling was amazing. When I polished the marble I did not feel anything. Oh well, at least the marble and the sink looks really nice. ^_^
